Karl Belger

Mr. Karl Alan Belger, 58, resident of Saddle Club Road in Ridgeway, SC, died Sunday evening, November 17, 2024, in the Lowcountry Community Hospice House in Summerville, SC.

Born December 28, 1965, in Hampton County, Karl was the son of Robert Donald Belger and Bonnie Bishop Belger.  He was a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and worked many years in construction.  Karl was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking in the beauty of nature.  He was also a volunteer firefighter in Lugoff for many years.

Karl was a member of Camden First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents of Lugoff, Karl is survived by his son, Ryan Alan Belger of Lugoff; his brother, Robert Wayne Belger and his wife Alice of Boykin; his niece, Allie Belger of Boykin; one aunt, Grace Tuten of Estill, and a cousin, Robert Long of Bishopville.

Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery located at 126 Hickory Grove Road in Brunson, SC 29911, conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge.

Friends may visit with the family following the services in the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorials to be made to the Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
