HAMPTON :     Mrs. June Carter Loadholt, of Sharon Avenue in Hampton, died Monday morning, July 17, 2023 at her residence, with her family by her side.

Mrs. Loadholt was born June 20, 1931 in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Louis Bunyon Gibson and Ola Mae Carter Gibson.  She was a Homemaker, and had worked as a Bookkeeper in Hampton for several years. Mrs. Loadholt was a member of the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church, where she was a member and president of the Women of the E. L. C. A. and had been active with all groups in the Church. She enjoyed playing Softball, was a Faithful Clemson Fan, and was a member of IPTAY.

Surviving are:  Grandchildren:  Mary Elizabeth Latham and husband Jason, Monica Loadholt, Jessica Bishop and husband Karl, and Joseph Michael Loadholt II and Fiance' (Kashira Harris); Great Grandchildren:  Brooke, Jordyn, and Kallie Latham, Charles David Bishop, Joseph Loadholt III, Emma Rose Loadholt, Naomi Wilson, Jaylen Spencer, and Khali Harris.

Mrs. Loadholt was predeceased by her parents; Her husband:  Charlie Henry Loadholt; Sons:  Charles Henry Loadholt Jr. and Joseph Michael Loadholt; Sister:  Hazel Main; Nephew: Tony Main; and daughter in law:  Nancy Sharpe Loadholt.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Gary Loadhold, with burial in the Church Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. at the Church Thursday morning prior to the services.

The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 68 Fairfax, S.C. 29827 or the Hampton County Relay for Life.
