Mrs. Judy Hay Williams, 86, of Railroad Avenue in Brunson, died Thursday afternoon in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Williams was born December 18, 1931 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Carroll Gordon Hay and Dorothy Adams Hay.  She had retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton as a Secretary and was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church.  She was a graduate of Varnville High School where she was the Salutatorian of her graduating class.  She married her husband William Mauldin "Son" Williams on January 6, 1956.

Surviving are:  son:  William Mauldin "Bill" Williams of Varnville;  daughter:  Wanda W. Helms and husband Terry of Hampton;  brother:  James Hay and wife Netta of Ellabell, Georgia;  three sisters;  Martha Brewster and husband Dave of Varnville, Gail Larisey of Hampton, and Patricia Woody of Powell, Tennessee;  grandchildren:  David Kuznik and wife Jamie of Charleston and Tucker Williams and wife Elizabeth of Charlotte;  a great-grandchild: Logan Kuznik and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Williams was predeceased by:  her husband, William Mauldin "Son" Williams;  brothers:  Carroll G. Hay, Jr. and Plan G. Hay;  sisters:  Helen M. Hay, Dorothy H. Miley, Joan H. Murden, Linda H. Stanley and Clara H. Williams; and a grandson:  Daniel Kuznik.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the Crocketville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Donal Rossire and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Cemetery.
