Joseph Robert Rogers

Mr. Joseph Robert Rogers, 78, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Brunson, died Monday morning in the Alive Hospice Care Facility in Nashville.

Mr. Rogers was born October 5, 1940 in Hampton County, son of the late John Seidle Rogers and Florence Youmans Rogers.  He was a self-employed concrete contractor and had worked many cities throughout the United States.  He was married to the late Judy Hatcher Rogers.

Surviving are his grandchildren:  Brianna, Savannah, Kaylee and Maggie.  There are 2 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Rogers was predeceased by his wife, Judy and a son, Joey Rogers.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday in the Brunson Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
