Jimmy Jackson, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Watson Jackson, Jr., 38, of West Pine Street in Varnville, died Sunday evening, November 15, 2020 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Mr. Jackson was born February 5, 1982 in Charleston, son of  Jenny Loadholt Jackson and the late Jimmy Watson Jackson, Sr.  Jimmy was a talented musician, taking after his maternal grandmother, Ruth Hanna Loadholt.  He was a member of the band in Junior High and in High School, winning numerous awards.  He was first trumpet in the Beaufort orchestra and played with the show band "The Okaysions".  He was a member of St. Nicholas Lutheran Church.

Surviving is his mother Jenny Jackson; uncles:  Ernie Loadholt (Jenny), Tim Loadholt (Didi), Marc Loadholt (Rose) and Billy Jackson; aunt:  Judith Diane Gibson; and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by his father Jimmy Jackson, Sr.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Gary Loadholdt and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.   Honorary Pallbearers will be Vance Miller Loadholt, Marc Loadholt, Jr., Dale Bowers, Evans McTeer and Chris Tunstall

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
