Jessie Ronald Jarrell

Mr. Jessie Ronald "Ron" Jarrell, II, 53, of Lonesome Dove Lane in the Nixville community, died Saturday morning, January 11, 2019, in the Roper Hospice Cottage in Mt. Pleasant after an extended illness.

Mr. Jarrell was born October 18, 1966 in Hampton County, a son of Jessie Jarrell, Sr. of Nixville and Sara Barker Stanley of the Hopewell Community.  He was a master carpenter and had worked for both Patterson and Stanley Construction Companies.  He was a member of Nixville Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing and building furniture for his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife Danielle "DeeDee" Sutton Jarrell of Hopewell; sons:  Glen Jarrell and wife Lydia of Nixville, Gerald "Cliffie" Jarrell of Varnville, Nick Jarrell of Walterboro and Lee Long and wife Megan of Ridgeland; daughters:  Alexis-Hope Wintersteen of St. Matthews, Windee Hill and Josee Nettles both of Varnville; sister:  Bonnie J. Wilson and husband Dewaine of Varnville; maternal grandmother:  Irene Barker of Hinesville, Georgia;  eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in Nixville Baptist Church with burial in the Nixville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.

Family members will be gathering at the home of Mrs. Bonnie Wilson located at 185 Partridge Lane, Varnville, SC 29944.
