Janet Stonaker

Ms. Janet Stonaker, 77, resident of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, November 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Stonaker was born on July 31,1947 to the late William Folk and Virginia Folk.

She loved the mountains of North Carolina, especially during her favorite time of year which was fall. She deeply loved to watch the color change of the trees each year. A family-oriented person, spending time with her children and grandchildren was what made Janet the happiest. She was a very proud mom and grandmother who spoke highly of all her children and grandchildren any chance she got.

Mrs. Stonaker is survived by her sister, Julia Folk, her brother, Bill Folk and his wife Gloria, her three children: Alton Stonaker, Lawrence Stonaker and his wife Michelle, and Dolores Archino and her husband Frank. She is also survived by her seven adored grandchildren: Billy, Alex, Evan, and Eric Stonaker, and Michael, Vinny, and Brieanna Archino, along with two beloved great-grandchildren, Eliana and Gabriel Tucker. Janet will forever be in the hearts of her family.

Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton is assisting the Stonaker Family with final arrangements.
