Janet Jordan Aytes

Mrs. Janet Lee Jordan Aytes of Elaine Road in Elloree, died Monday at her residence after a brief illness.

Mrs. Aytes was born Jan. 15, 1952 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Albert Jordan and Malfalda (Muffy) (Laliscio) Jordan. She was also predeceased by a brother, Michael Dennis Jordan. She had retired as a Lab Technician at the Medical University Hospital in Charleston, and was the widow of Roy Aytes.

Surviving are: Sons: Roy Aytes and wife Linda Altman Aytes of Elloree, and Paul Aytes and wife Jodi of Summerville; Daughter: Angela Ferguson and husband Matthew of Elloree. There are 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Her surviving brothers and sisters are Pat Laliscio of Brooksville, Fl., Mary Lou (Jordan) Mulford of Toledo OH, Barbara (Jordan) of Deese S.C., Nancy L. (Jordan) Clearly of Lady Lake, Fl.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but will be announced at a later date by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
