Jane Thomas Sinclair

Mrs. Jane Hope Thomas Sinclair, 84, resident of Varnville, SC, wife of Robert Sinclair, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville.

Jane was born October 7, 1941, in Colleton County, a daughter of the late C. R. and Dorothy Taylor Thomas. She was a graduate of Bells High School, worked several years at the Hampton County Bank, and retired from the South Carolina Employment Security Commission after many years of service. Jane was a member of Varnville United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Robert H. Sinclair; one son, Bobby (Nella) Sinclair; one grandson, Bricen (Amber) Sinclair; one granddaughter, Rebecca (Cody) Davis, and one great-grandson, Casen Davis. There are also three sisters who survive, Barbara Simpson, Margaret Thomas, and Kaye Gatch, as well as three nieces and one nephew.

She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3 PM Friday, March 27, 2026, in the Varnville United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Jack Hutto.

Visitation will immediately follow the services at the church.
