Jaime Lynn Corley

BARNWELL :     Jaime Lynn Pitman Corley, of Hagood Avenue in Barnwell, wife of Heath Corley, passed away Friday evening, October 8, 2021 at the Prisma Health Hospital in Columbia.  She was 42.

Jaime Lynn was born in Allendale County July 14, 1979 a daughter of Donna Pitman Thames, of Hampton, and the late Lyman Pitman.  She was a teacher's assistant, and had taught school in both Barnwell and Aiken Counties.  She was a member of the Fairfax Baptist Church, and was a loving homemaker, always caring for her family.

In addition to her husband, Jaime Lynn is survived by her parents Jimmy and Lisa Bodiford of Greenwood, and by her children Griffin, Sydney and Abigail Corley of Barnwell.  She leaves behind her siblings:  Lyman "Spike" Pitman III of Hampton, Terry Pitman of Lynn Haven, Florida, Adam Fail of Blackville, James Pitman of Kannapolis, NC, Brana Freeman of Varnville, Elizabeth Burnett of Brunson, and Mandy Fail of Orangeburg.  Jaime Lynn is also survived by her step-mother Carol Ann Pitman of Varnville.  She was preceded in death by her fathers, Lyman Pitman and James Newton Pitman, and by her sister Alena Padgett.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 at the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton.  The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street in Hampton
