Mrs. Jackie Ann Kinard Bridges of Ellis Street in Hampton died Tuesday morning at the home of her mother in Hampton.
Mrs. Bridges was born in Hampton County January 4, 1954, a daughter of Addie "Melda" Freeman Kinard and the late William Jackson "Jack" Kinard. She was an Administrative Assistant with the New Life Center and also operated Ann's Town and Country Beauty Salon. Ann was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church and was active in the Ladies Club and the Companion in Christ Bible Study Group. She was a member of the Lillie Chapter # 27, Order of the Eastern Star. Ann was the widow of Robert Anthony "Andy" Bridges.
Surviving besides her mother of Hampton are two daughters, Nicole B. Smith and husband Bryan of Grays and Kim Bridges of Charleston. There are 2 grandchildren, Cade and Levi Smith.
Funeral services will be 11AM Friday in the Hampton United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ross Chellis and Rev. Scott Wachter with burial following in the Rivers Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
