Irene Cloutier Deloach

Mrs. Irene Cloutier DeLoach, wife of the late Ellison Wade DeLoach, passed away Sunday, February 04, 2024 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

Mrs. DeLoach was born October 18, 1933 in Manchester, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Alfred Joseph Cloutier and Irene Peloquin Cloutier.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hampton.  Irene was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend.  She never knew a stranger.  Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren.  Nothing made her happier than having the entire clan together for family celebrations and holidays.  She was renowned for her cooking and her amazing recipes and legacy of God and family first will live on.

Survivors are sons, David Wade DeLoach (Elizabeth)  of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Michael Ellison DeLoach (Melissa McHenry)  of Dublin, Ohio; daughters, Lisa D. Dillard (Ted) of Lyman, South Carolina and Paula D. Breland (Harrison) of Estill, South Carolina; grandchildren; Brad Breland (Brandi),  Andrea Tuten (Paul), Camille Ledford (Jacob),  Jennifer Dillard, Colleen Dillard, Chandler DeLoach, Madison DeLoach, Emily DeLoach and Ian DeLoach; brother, Roger Cloutier;  sisters, Theresa Whitmore and Rita L' Heureux.  She was predeceased by grand-daughter Heather Dillard Hulsey and sisters, Lucille Isenburg, Lorraine Dionne and Doris Martel.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 08, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Agustin Torm and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, South Carolina.
