Hunter Bowers

Hunter Tison Bowers, 36, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Port Royal, SC.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Ford Bowers, III and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover F. Bowers, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Randolph Peeples. Hunter attended Benedictine Military School and graduated from Patrick Henry Academy.  He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.  Hunter was employed by Timac Argo USA, where he served as a regional manager.  He was also a member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.

Hunter loved the lowcountry and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed salt water fishing, hunting and being with his dog Roy.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Grover F. Bowers, IV and his sister Margaret Elizabeth Bowers.  He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private interment was held in Lawtonville Cemetery.
