Harry Herbert Sullivan

FAIRFAX DATELINE:

Mr. Harry Herbert Sullivan of Bobby Street in Fairfax, died early Saturday morning at this residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Sullivan was born Sept. 15, 1937 in Allendale County, a son of the late Herbert and Geneva Cook Sullivan. He had retired from the Hampton National Guard unit as a Chief Warrant Officer 4, and was in charge of the Supply Department.

Mr. Sullivan also was a member of the Brunson Baptist Church, and the Allendale Fairfax Masonic Lodge # 109. He loved the outdoors, Carpentry, and spending time with Family & Friends.

Surviving are: His Wife: Evelyn Clem Terry Sullivan of Fairfax; Daughters: Rita Varner and husband Larry of Brunson, Cheryl Sullivan "Sherry" of Fairfax, and Connie Cooke and husband Scott of Brunson; Brothers: Jerry Sullivan of Summerville, Wallace Sullivan of Fairfax, and David Sullivan of Barnwell; Grandchildren: Stephanie Gibson, Leslie Atwood, Kelly Worthy, and Jonathan Cook; and 5 great grandchildren.

Mr. Sullivan was predeceased by his parents; Brothers: Johnny, Lamar, and Ricky Sullivan; and a sister: Margie Johns.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge and Rev. George Moore, with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Fairfax with Military Honors and Masonic Rites.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
