Harriett Seckinger Winn

Mrs. Harriett June Seckinger Winn, 75, resident of Shaw Drive in Hampton, wife of Ronald "Breeze" Winn, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2025, in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Born January 3, 1950, in Guyton, Georgia, Mrs. Winn was the daughter of the late Fletcher Seckinger and Viola Joyner Seckinger. She was raised in Clyo, Georgia, graduated from Effingham High School, and went on to business college in Savannah, Georgia. Knowing the value of a strong work ethic, Mrs. Winn retired after working many years in the lunchroom at Wade Hampton High School.

She was a member of Hampton First Baptist Church where she was active for many years in the WMU and was a founding member who actively participated in working the Clothes Closest Ministry for many years. Mrs. Winn deeply loved her church, her Lord, and her family.

Surviving besides her husband of 55 years, whom she married on February 12, 1970 in the Clyo Methodist Church, Ronald Gowin "Breeze" Winn, of the home, are her two adored sons, David Gowin Winn and Richard Henry Winn, both of Estill; a brother, Robert "Pie" Seckinger and his wife Harriett Smith Seckinger of Clyo, Georgia, and two sisters-in-law, Madeline Polk of Lexington and Wylene Seckinger of Hampton. There are also many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins who survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Winn was predeceased by two brothers, David Seckinger and Willie Jo Seckinger.

Funeral Services will be 3 PM Sunday, November 23, 2025, in the Lawtonville Baptist Church in Estill, conducted by Rev. Asbury Lawton and Rev. Scott Varnadoe. Burial will follow in the Lawtonville Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 PM prior to the service and last until the hour of the service in the church sanctuary.

The family requests that those who wish send memorials to the Lawtonville Baptist Church Youth Fund, P.O. Box 1057, Estill, SC 29918.
