Gary Dale Walker, Jr.

Mr. Gary Dale Walker, Jr., 50, resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Thursday morning, December 5, 2024, in Estill, SC.

Born January 12, 1974, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Gary Dale Walker, Sr. and Deborah O. Bigenho of Pittsburgh.  Gary was an intelligent man having attended West Virginia State College where he majored in biology and minored in music. Gary was an excellent tuba player who will be remembered by his family as the best tuba player ever heard. He joined the United States Army while attending college and proudly served his country continuously building on his knowledge from their teachings and many classes. Gary also worked many years as a mechanic with Ford Motor Company and was a skilled worker.

In addition, he was an Eagle Scout and proud member of the Order of the Arrow.

Gary is survived by his parents, daughter, and countless other relatives who loved him dearly.

There are no formal services scheduled at this time.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Walker family with local arrangements.
