BRUNSON :     Mrs. Frankie Terry Harter, of the Pond Town Community near Brunson, peacefully passed away at home Saturday afternoon after her battle with cancer.

Mrs. Harter was born September 21, 1953 in Hampton County, the youngest daughter of the late W.F. Terry and Norine Belger Terry.  She was a sales clerk with the B.C. Moore Department Store, later known as Peeples, and Goodys, for many years.  She had attended the St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church, and was a member of the local Ladies Coffee Club that met at Julienne's Expresso Cafe in downtown Hampton.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years;  Joseph Harter Jr. of Brunson;  One son:  Jason Harter and wife Crystal of Brunson;  One daughter:  Amy Heape of Brunson;  Two sisters:  Carolyn Gunnells of Goose Creek, and Brenda Tuten and husband Jesse of Kingsland, Georgia;  and four grandchildren:  Logan Harter, Alainee Harter, Holden Harter, and Justin Heape.

Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Tuesday in the Rivers Cemetery conducted by Elder Robert Dobson, and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.  The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the Rivers Cemetery Association, in care of Dawn Winn, 4935 Prince William Road, Brunson, SC  29911.
