Mr. Frank Wayne Denicola, 72, of Estill died Tuesday morning, June 5th, in the Medical University Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Denicola was born September 23, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late Frank and Frances Fescina Denicola. He had retired from Verizon Telephone Company, was a former Scout Master and served as an Emergency Medical Technician in New York. Mr. Denicola also had been a caretaker at a local Military Cemetery and had served two tours in Vietnam in the Navy and was Commander of the American Legion Post in Hancock, New York for 25 years. He was very active with the Freedom Alliance Association and enjoyed deer and hog hunting in Hampton County and had attended the Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Eileen Denicola of New Jersey and Camille Denicola of Queens, New York, one niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton with burial in the Lawtonville Cemetery in Estill with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the Chapel in Hampton.
