Finley Metzger

Mrs. Finley Mack Causey Metzger, 99, formerly of Furman, South Carolina, died Sunday morning, January 10, 2021 at the home of her son, Cary, in York, South Carolina with her loving family at her side.

Mrs. Metzger was born September 12, 1921 in Gaston, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Willie Mack and Lucy Marie Goodson Mack.  She had retired from the Postal Service in Estill, South Carolina.  She was a member of the Estill Book Club and the Furman Baptist Church.  She was the widow of Rudolph Cooper Causey and Clayborne Metzger.

Surviving are her two sons:  James Cary Causey and wife Anne of York, SC and Rudolph Cooper Causey, Jr. of Matthews, NC; grandchildren:  Jeremy, Jonathan, Jennifer, Brad (Lee) Causey, and Mandy Causey Barker (Frank); great-grandchildren:  Ethan, Raegan, Cason, Ashlynn and Wyatt Causey and Caleb, Cassidy and Anthony Barker.

Private funeral services will be held at Lebanon Cemetery near Scotia.
