Evelyn Crosby Tunstall

Mrs. Evelyn Crosby Tunstall of Nix Street in Brunson, died Tuesday morning at her residence.  Mrs. Tunstall was born in Brunson, May 7, 1934, a daughter of the late Willie Lee Crosby and Viola Chesser Crosby.  She had retired from Brunson Elementary School as Librarian and also, served as Secretary at Brunson Baptist Church where she was a member and was active with the WMU.

Surviving are:  Son:  David Tunstall and wife Vivian of Varnville;  Daughter:  Beth Williams and husband Pat of Brunson;  Brother:  Henry Crosby of Aiken:  and Grandchildren:  Bryan Williams, Christopher Tunstall and Kristin Cuadrado.  There are 4 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Tunstall was predeceased by her husband, Robert James Tunstall, Sr. and a son, Bob Tunstall.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the Brunson Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Willie Crosby and Rev. R.P. Hodge with burial in the Brunson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton from 5 to 7 PM.  The casket will be placed in the church Friday morning at 10 AM prior to services.
