Mrs. Evelyn Arlene Williams Jarrell of Turner Expressway in the Nixville Community, died Thursday evening in the Medical University Hospital in Charleston.
Mrs. Jarrell was born November 21, 1941 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Cameron Williams and Pearl DeLoach Williams. She had retired from Best Manufacturing Company in Estill as a Seamstress, and was a member of the Nixville Baptist Church. She had centered her life around her family that she loved dearly.
Surviving are: Son: Bennie Jarrell of Brunson; Daughters: Charlene Drawdy of Nixville, and Jessica Lightsey and husband Ben of Brunson; Brother: Norman Williams of Alabama; Sisters: Loretta Jacobson and husband Val of Hampton, Pearl Phillips of Nixville, and Margie Betek of Texas, Sister in Law: JoAnn Williams of Varnville; and a special niece that she loved like a Daughter, Angie Sweet.
Mrs. Jarrell was predeceased by her husband: Charles Jarrell, and three brothers: Jimmy, James and Carol Williams.
Also there are Five Grandchildren: Casie & Alan Brunson, Rachel and Bryce Rogers, Eddie Drawdy, Amber Lightsey, Justin Lightsey and Rena Tuten. There are also five great grandsons.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday in the Nixville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Dr. Allan Kircher and Rev. Joseph Williams, with burial in the Nixville Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 P. M. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
