Esther Yvonne Hadwin

Mrs. Esther Yvonne Priester Hadwin, wife of William Benjamin Hadwin, passed away, Thursday, February 08, 2024 at the John Edward Harter Nursing Center in Fairfax, South Carolina.

Mrs. Hadwin was born January 30, 1939 in Allendale County, the daughter of the late Gary Tillman Priester and Aurie Kinard Priester.  She was a telephone operator and worked with her husband at Estill Gas Company, she was a member of Lawtonville Baptist Church.

Survivors are husband, and son, William Benjamin Hadwin, Jr.  She was predeceased by a brother Edwin Priester.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024 at DeLoach Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Asbury Lawton, Rev. Jamie Norris and Rev. Brian Toney and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.  Visitation will be  Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, South Carolina.
