Esther Salome Bishop

Miss Esther Salome Bishop of Brunson passed away Wednesday, morning, May 01, 2024, at the Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

Miss Bishop was born in Hampton County, November 03, 1933, a daughter of the late Chesley Arthur Bishop and Carrie Corrine Priester Bishop.  She had worked at Davan Manufacturing Company in Allendale and was a loyal member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister Grace B. Tuten, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Miss Bishop was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Charles Adam Bishop and sisters, Hilda Bishop Hindman and Bernice Chloe Bishop.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 04, 2024, at 12:00 noon, at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.  Visitation will be Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:00 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
