Elizabeth Platts Mosley

Mrs. Elizabeth Platts Mosley of Brunson died Sunday in the Lowcountry Assisted Living Facility in Ehrhardt.

Mrs. Mosley was born in Allendale County, December 28, 1933, a daughter of the late Marion Ellison Platts and Virginia Rhunette Platts Bowers.  She had retired from Wade Hampton High School in the cafeteria, and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and sewing.

Surviving are:  Sons:  Harold Edwin Crosby, Sr. and wife Libby of Estill, and Robert Ellison Crosby and wife Wanda of Estill;  Brother:  Buddy Bowers of Nixville;  Sisters:  Carolyn Stevenson of Hampton and Patricia "Patsy" Lake of Summerville;  Grandchildren:  Greg, Edwin, Bobby and Hannah Crosby, Angie Lee and Nicole Peters; and 7 Great Grandchildren.  Mrs. Mosley was predeceased by her Husband:  Henry T. "Tom" Mosley;  Son:  Thomas Lee Crosby;  Brother:  Ben Platts;  Sister:  Marion Waters; and Great Grandson:  Christopher Peters, Jr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial in the Hampton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
