Edward Marion Lee

Mr. Edward Marion Lee, 76, of Gooding Street in Varnville, died Friday afternoon, August 21, 2020 in the Summerville Community Hospice Home.

Mr. Lee was born January 28, 1944 in Conway, South Carolina, a son of the late Frederick Benjamin Lee, Jr. and Rosalee Cooper Lee.  He was an electrician and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Mr. Lee was also a private pilot and enjoyed woodworking.  He was married to the late Anita Jean Lee.

Surviving are his daughters:  Sheryl Fall of Teaneck, NJ and Stephanie Scott of Brunswick, GA; step-daughters:  Debbie Blakewood of Brunson, Shera Brigman of Lexington and Cathi Hiers of West Columbia; special niece:  Paulette Glisson of Pawleys Island and several grandchildren.  Mr. Lee was predeceased by his wife, parents and a sister, Carolyn Lee Owens.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the Varnville Cemetery conducted by Bishop Dayne Mock and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

The family will visit with friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.
