Mrs. Edna Hall Gray, 97, of South Aiken Avenue in Fairfax, died Tuesday morning, December 15, 2020 at the residence of her son in Lexington.

Mrs. Gray was born June 4, 1923 in Williston, a daughter of the late James Lester "Happy" Hall and Maude Ella Hair Hall.  She was a homemaker and had been a member of Fairfax Garden and Study Club.  Mrs. Gray was a member of the FCL Club and an active member of Fairfax First Baptist Church.  She was the widow of the late Marion Cone Gray, Sr.

Surviving is her son:  Marion Cone Gray, Jr. and wife Jane of Lexington; grandchildren:  Marion Cone Gray, III and wife Theresa of Lexington, Michael Gray and wife Michelle of Morristown, Tennessee and Charles Gray and wife Kristin of Lexington; eight great-grandchildren:  David, Matthew, Christopher, Emily, Lauren, Jonathan, Allie and Raegan Gray; and two brothers:  Lester Hall and wife Betty of Aiken and Walter Hall and wife Eva of Williston.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton conducted by Rev. Dr. David Janaro with burial in the Fairfax Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Saturday at 11 AM prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
