Eddie Eugene Walls

Mr. Eddie Eugene Walls of Redmond Mill Road near Swansea, formerly of Varnville, died early Wednesday morning in Swansea.

Mr. Walls was born in Beaufort County May 4, 1949, a son of the late Eddie Franklin Walls and Mary Elizabeth Mixson Walls.  Eugene attended Hampton County Schools and graduated from Wade Hampton High School.  Eugene served in the Air Force for 6 years as an Aircraft Mechanic and formerly attended the Varnville First Baptist Church.  He was a Master Electrician and retired from J. Moore Electrical Company in Swansea.

Surviving are:  Son: Brandon Eugene Walls and wife Stephanie of Hampton; Brother: Ronald Walls of Varnville; and three grandsons:  Christopher Byron Walls, James Derek Walls and Wyatt Cole Walls.  There are a number of nieces and nephews and many close friends in the Swansea area.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery near Varnville.

Visitation will begin Saturday at 12:30 P.M. prior to services at the Funeral Home in Hampton.
