Dorothy Louise Whittle Garvin

BRUNSON DATELINE:

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Whittle Garvin of Bush Road near Brunson, died Friday evening in the Summerville Community Hospice House in Summerville.

Mrs. Garvin was born June 3, 1943 in Healing Springs, a daughter of the late M. B. Whittle and Myrtle Cain Whittle. She was a Homemaker and loved spending time with her Grandchildren. She was the widow of Willie Hennis Garvin, and was a member of the West End Baptist Church.

Surviving are: Sons: Phillip Garvin and wife Vickie of Hampton, and Clifford Garvin and wife Wanda of North Myrtle Beach; Brother: Mack Whittle of Wagner and Sister: Sara Jane Whittle of Summerton; Grandchildren: Jaimie, Carrie, Amanda, Christina, Casey, Natalie, Max, and Quinton. There are also 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Garvin was predeceased by her parents, husband, Son: Barry Garvin; Brother: Bobby Whittle; Sister: Delano Williams; and Great-Grandson: Eric Langford.

Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday in the West End Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Rhyan Ashcraft, and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday prior to the services at the Church.
