Dorothy Peeples Henderson

VARNVILLE DATELINE:

Mrs. Dorothy Ellen Peeples Henderson of Fairfax, formerly of Varnville; passed away early Friday morning, September 22, 2023, at the John Edward Nursing Center in Fairfax.  She was the widow of Ingram Walls and Billy Henderson.

Mrs. Henderson was born May 07, 1939, in Varnville, a daughter of the late Elliott Peeples and Susan Barnes Peeples.  She had worked in retail sales at the B. C. Moores Store in Hampton and was member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church and was very active with the church activities.

Surviving are:  Daughter:  Susan Thomas and husband Stefan of Hampton; Son:  Roy Walls of Summerville; Sister:  Frances DeLoach of Hampton and a Grandson:  Colby of Beaufort.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Sand Hill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. George Skinner and directed by Peeples - Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the church prior to the services at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
