Mrs. Doris Marie DeLoach Davis, 68, of Newton Corner Road near Estill, died Saturday at her residence after an extended illness.
Mrs. Davis was born September 19, 1950 in Ridgeland, a daughter of the late Ernest Randolph DeLoach and Dorothy Marie DeLoach. She had worked at the Huddle House in Hampton for several years and was a member of the Grays Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband: Luther Edward Davis of Estill; son: Earvy Prince and wife Tina of Hampton; sister: Helen Stanley and husband John of Brunson; grandchildren: Felecia, William and Roy Thames, Tommy Heard, Jimmy and Bobby Daniel, Heather and Lesa Prince and Amber Jones. There are seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by a brother, Randolph DeLoach.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly, with burial in the DeLoach Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
