Donna Freeman Mock

Mrs. Donna Lou Freeman Mock, 80, resident of Jeffcoat Street in Fairfax, SC, died Saturday evening, November 16, 2024, in the Hampton Regional Medical Center in Varnville.

Born September 5, 1944, in Jasper County, Mrs. Mock was the daughter of the late Lester Freeman and Harriett Smith Freeman.  She worked many years in textile operations retiring from Queen Carpet in Allendale, SC.  Mrs. Mock enjoyed working in her yard and was an avid bird watcher who enjoyed watching hummingbirds at her many bird feeders.

She was of the Mormon faith.

Surviving are her two sons: Donald Anthony Mock and his wife Jennifer of Barnwell, SC and Lester Brian Mock and his wife Tamie of Fairfax, SC; her one daughter: Donna Maria Mock of Fairfax, SC, and seven grandchildren:  Joshua, Heather, Caleb, Hannah, Olivia, Hunter, and Gracie. There are also three great-grandchildren: Delaney, Adalyn, and Tymber.

Graveside Services will be 11 AM Friday, November 22, 2024, in the Grimes Cemetery near Grays, SC, conducted by Mr. Ron Still and Pastor Mark Epperson.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Mock family during this time.
