Donna Marie Breland

Mrs. Donna Marie Ginn Breland, 56, of Brandy Lane near Nixville, died unexpectedly early Monday morning, April 13, 2020,  from injuries received during the tornado.

Mrs. Breland was born January 3, 1964 in Hampton, daughter of Marie Murdaugh Ginn and the late Herman Ginn.  She had worked at Jen's Rainbow Land and later was the director of the Melon Patch Childcare Center.  She was a member of Nixville Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and with the W.M.U. Organization.

Surviving are her daughter:  Ashley Breland Lerch of Nixville; grandchildren: Jeremy Brian Lerch, Allison Nicole Lerch and Brayden Johnson Lerch;  brothers: Timmy Ginn and wife Angie  and David Ginn and wife Kathy, all of Nixville;  her mother:  Marie Murdaugh Ginn; along with a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Breland was predeceased by her father, Herman Ginn.  She was the wife of Jim Brian Breland and mother of Kayla Arlene Breland who also died that morning in the tornado.

In consideration of the state and national emergency that currently exists with the coronavirus pandemic, and with the health and well-being of their friends and community in mind, funeral services will be held privately.  Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
