Diane Mixon Deloach

Mrs. Diane Mixon DeLoach, 65, resident of Lewis Road in Estill, widow of Lewis DeLoach, Sr., passed away late Monday evening, April 21, 2025, in the Lowcountry Community Hospice House in Summerville.

Born October 30, 1959, in Hampton, Mrs. DeLoach was the daughter of the late James Edgar Mixon and Mabel Gooding Mixon. She attended the public schools of Hampton and was a homemaker. Mrs. DeLoach enjoyed being in the outdoors, cutting grass, going to the beach, and fishing with her sons. Most importantly, she loved people; especially her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. DeLoach was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her two sons, Lewis E. DeLoach, Jr. (Sherrie) of Estill and Charles Lee DeLoach of Estill; one sister, Mabel Brown (James) of Hampton; 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. There are also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. DeLoach was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Edward DeLoach, Sr., a sister, Peggy Johnson, and three brothers, Jimmy, Jessie, and Billy Mixon.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Friday, April 25, 2025 in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the DeLoach Family Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 5 PM – 7 PM Thursday evening, April 24, 2025, at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924.
