Delores Brunson

Miss Delores Brunson, 66, of Varnville, died Wednesday afternoon, February 27, 2018, in the John E. Harter Nursing Center in Fairfax.

Miss Brunson was born December 11, 1952 in Allendale County, a daughter of the late Lawrence O. Brunson, Sr. and Betty Louise Brunson.  She had worked for the Sara Lee Company in Barnwell.  She enjoyed bird watching and was a member of the Fairfax First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister: Debra Sauls and husband Randy of Varnville; and two aunts: Frances Crosby and Sara Cook of Fairfax.  Miss Brunson was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Otis Brunson, Jr.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. David Schaffer with burial in the DeLoach Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
