Debra Chassereau

Mrs. Debra Sue Crance Chassereau, 68, of Caw Caw Swamp Road in Brunson, died Friday, August 6, 2021 in Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Chassereau was born February 24, 1953 in Ithaca, New York, a daughter of the late Perry Jackson Crance and Betty Louise Gould Iler.  She was a homemaker and had devoted her life to caring for her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Amanda Crance and Kimberly Runkle, both of Brunson and Kayla Hunter of Claxton, Georgia; her son, Jacob Runkle and wife Jessica of Brunson; brothers, Jeff Iler of Aiken, Jack Crance, Jr. of New York and David Crance of New York; sister, Sheri Collier of Varnville; and grandchildren, Jake Runkle, Jocelyn Runkle, E.J. Hunter, Henry, Faith and Shawn Hunter.  Mrs. Chassereau was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Kenny and Johnny Iler.

Memorial services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Brunson Baptist Church conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
