Mrs. Deborah Mole Jones, 71, of McMillian Road in Brunson, widow of Donald Jones, Jr., passed away at her residence, Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025.
Born on March 19, 1954, in Hampton County, she was the daughter of James Warren Mole, Sr. and Rosalind P. Mole. Mrs. Jones graduated Wade Hampton High School in 1971 then continued her education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College where she graduated with her associates in business. For 40 years, she worked as a skilled bookkeeper and tax preparer, dedicating herself to helping others manage their finances with precision and care. Mrs. Jones was a warm, compassionate soul who treated everyone like family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, always putting others first and offering her care and kindness to all who crossed her path.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Fairfax First Baptist Church.
Surviving is her son: Nicholas Jones and his wife Felicia of Brunson; 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren who she adored; her brother: James Warren Mole, Jr. and wife Tammy of Brunson; her sister: Ginger Altman of Williston.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband: Donald Leon Jones, Jr.; her daughter: Janet Jones Reno Jackson; her son: Jamie R. Jones; and her brother-in-law, Robert Altman.
A visitation will be held beginning at 2 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025, and last until the hour of the service in the Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, SC 29924, conducted by Pastor Finley Limehouse, with burial to follow at St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Cemetery, near Fairfax.
Pallbearers will be Aden Jones, Jake Runkle, Trey Jackson, Warren Mole, Adam Altman and Stephen Altman.
The family request that those who wish may send memorials in Mrs. Jones honor to Fairfax First Baptist Church, Brunson Baptist Church or St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Cemetery.
