David M. Malone

Mr. David M. Malone, 83, resident of Bamberg Highway near Hampton, formerly of Greenville, SC, died Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the home of his daughter.

Born February 9, 1942, in Belton, SC, he was the son of the late Leonard Malone and Emma Myers Malone. Mr. Malone retired from the City of Greenville after working many years in maintenance. He loved his dog and will be remembered for selling eggs, watermelon, and cantaloupe over the years.

Mr. Malone is survived by his daughters: Carlene (Andy), who he resided with in Hampton, and April of Greenville; his sons: Brian of Travelers Rest, Troy of Anderson, Ashley of Greenville, and Steven of Greenville; his brother, Steve Malone of Anderson, and his sisters:  Sylvia Tinsley, Sherry Davis, Sarah Bane, and Janice Capell all of Anderson, and Brenda Blum of Roswell, GA.  There are also 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren who survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Malone was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Fay Malone, his second wife, Martha Malone, his son, Billy Malone, and his brothers: Alvin (Pete) Malone, Joe R. Malone, and Lewis (Wayne) Malone.

Funeral Services will be 1 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, in the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Greenville, SC. Visitation will follow the service.
