Mr. David E. Harrah of Yemassee, died Thursday afternoon in the Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville.

Mr. Harrah was born October 26, 1960 in Beckley, West Virginia a son of Gaynel Lee Otey Harrah and the late Joseph Franklin Harrah. He was a graduate of Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, N.C., served in the U.S. Marine Corp., and retired as an Estimator with the Branscome Paving Company in Manassas, Virginia. Mr. Harrah was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Yemassee Baptist Church, enjoyed Cooking, and Music.

Surviving besides his Mother of Chemsford, Mass.: are: His Wife: Sharon Renee Mains Harrah of Yemassee; Son: Tyler Jonathan Harrah of Reston, Virginia; Step Children: Stephen Allen Baty and wife Christina of Yuma, Arizona, Katlyn Renee Jackson and Deanna Marlene Baty of Yemassee; and a Sister: Greta Dawn of Clifton, Virginia.

Memorial services will be 5 P.M. Friday in the Yemassee Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Heyward Evans, and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Friends may visit with the family members immediately following the services at the Church.
