David Anthony Deloach

Mr. David Anthony DeLoach, Sr. of Lowndes Lake Road near Early Branch, died Thursday evening in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.  He was 65.

Mr. DeLoach was born September 23, 1953 in Hampton County, a son of Betty DeLoach Hadwin and the late Robert Haston DeLoach.  He had worked in law enforcement with the Sheriff's Department and was formerly the Police Chief in Varnville.  He was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his mother of Early Branch are sons:  Jared James DeLoach and wife Tabitha of Hampton, David A. "Tony" DeLoach, Jr. and wife Amanda of Varnville;  daughter:  Tammy DeLoach Carroll and companion Doug McMillan, Jr. of Early Branch;  and grandchildren:  Abby, Bailey, Trenton, Brandon, Kaylee, Hayden, Ava and Brent.  Mr. DeLoach was predeceased by his father and half-brothers:  Richard, Vernon and Bobby DeLoach; and a sister:  Erneal Murdaugh.

Funeral services will be 5 PM Tuesday at Sand Hill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. George Skinner with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will begin at 4 PM Tuesday at the church prior to services.
