Danny Jarrell

Mr. Danny Hugh Jarrell, 75, of Turner Expressway in the Nixville community, died Monday morning, November 16, 2020 in the Medical University Hospital in Charleston.

Mr. Jarrell was born December 1, 1944 in Hampton County, a son of the late James Wesley Jarrell and Gertrude Ginn Jarrell.  He was a farmer and also worked with American General Insurance Company for many years.  Mr. Jarrell was a member of Nixville Baptist Church and was an avid Gamecock fan.

Surviving is his son:  Wes Jarrell and wife Eleanor of Nixville; daughters:  Tammy Harvey and husband Jeffrey of Nixville and Pam Moore and husband Greg of Hampton; brothers:  J.W. Jarrell and John Jarrell, both of Nixville; sisters:  Evelyn Tant of Nixville and Mary Hadwin of Hampton; grandchildren:  Caroline and husband Roosevelt, Miranda, Gordon, Andrew and wife Brittany, Brantley, William, Blair, Ansley, Asher and Callen; great-grandchildren:  Levi, Allison, Brooklyn, Trinity and Jaycee.  Mr. Jarrell was predeceased by his wife Georgia Ann Mercer Jarrell and a brother, David Jarrell.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday in the Family Life Center at Nixville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Allan Kircher with burial in the Nixville Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at the home of Mr. Jarrell located at 2093 Turner Expressway and at other times at the home of his daughter Tammy, located at 2135 Turner Expressway.
