Cynthia Ann Haley Gregg

VARNVILLE DATELINE:

Mrs. Cynthia Ann Haley Gregg of Wingate Road near Varnville, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Gregg was born December 17, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Ben B. Haley and Corinne Mayberry Haley.  She was an accountant with Tremont Industries, and the wife of  Joseph Randall Benton.

Surviving are :  Sons: Josh Haley of Cincinnati, Ohio,  James B. Slawter of Hampton, and Joseph T. Benton and wife Megan of Walterboro; Daughters:  Sarah Little and husband Adam of North Carolina and Ashley Benton of Hampton; Brother:  Gregory Haley of Georgia;  Sister in law: Deborah Summerline and husband Tom of Estill; and a Special Friend:  Louise Groover of Georgia.  She was predeceased by her parents and a Brother, Ben A. Harley.  Also, surviving by 20 grandchildren.

A memorial service will planned in Georgia at a later date by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
