Clifton Earl Cox

BRUNSON: Mr. Clifton Earl Cox of Joe Miley Road near Brunson, died Monday morning, June 12th, 2023 in the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.

Mr. Cox was born December 18, 1933 in Lenoir, North Carolina a son of the late Howard Marion Cox and Alice Daniels Cox. He had retired from the Air Force as a Tech Sgt:  after 20 years of service, and later retired with SouthEastern Freight Lines as a Truck Driver. He was a Mason and a member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge, enjoyed Hunting and taking care of the Family Farm in Brunson.

Mr. Cox was predeceased by his wife, Constance Ann Ward Cox, and daughter:  Cheryl Ann Hamm.

Surviving are:  His Daughter:  Catherine Cox Bozard and husband Kenny of Brunson; Grandchildren;  Kyle Lee Bozard of Dallas Town, Penn.; and Timothy Ryon Hamm of Brunson;  and Great grandchildren:  Kyle Bozard Jr., Eric Bozard, and Jackson Lee Bozard of Red Lion, Penn.

Memorial services will be 2 P.M. Friday, June 30, 2023 in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, with Military Honors and Masonic Rites.

Visitation will begin at 1 P.M. prior to the services at the Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
