Mrs. Cheryl Ann Bennett Griner of Mill Pond Road in the Early Branch Community, near Grays passed away, Sunday, November 26 at the Select Speciality Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Griner was born, October 06, 1955 in Hawaii, a daughter of the late Willie Lee Bennett and Anna Marie Rogers Bennett.  She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Aiken and had taught school for many years in the Hampton County Community.  Mrs. Griner was a member of the Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Surviving are:  Grandson, Joseph Braiden Dalin of Ohio, Sisters:  Judy Neidzielkski and husband Robert of Michigan, Karen Smith and husband Gene of Grays, Carol Baker of Moncks Corner, and Susan Edwards and husband Freddie of Varnville; and many beloved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Griner was predeceased by her parents and two sons Benjamin Brooks Griner and Derek Oliver Griner.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday in the Nixville Cemetery, graveside, conducted by Rev. Wilbur Daley.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
