LILBURN, GA: Mr. Charles DeLacy Crosby, formerly of Hampton County South Carolina, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at his residence. He was 94.
Mr. Crosby was born August 16, 1927 in Walterboro, a son of the late George Edward Crosby and Emma Louise Peeples Crosby. After leaving Hampton County, he settled in Lilburn, Georgia and worked as a Communication Technician.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Reid Crosby of Lilburn, by his son Bruce Crosby of Missouri, and by and other in-laws.
He was predeceased by a son Charles Crosby Jr.,by a brother Birdie Crosby, and by several other brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 at 3:00 in the Hampton cemetery, conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge, and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will follow the services at the cemetery.
