Cecil Elliott Freeman

Mr. Cecil Elliott Freeman, 70, of Pocotaligo Road near Early Branch, died Monday afternoon, July 27, 2020 at Pruitt Health Care Facility in Walterboro.

Mr. Freeman was born January 15, 1950 in Hampton County, a son of the late Jim Eddie Freeman and Mary Alice Mixson Freeman.  He was the owner and operator of Freeman Land Clearing and Site Prep.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a pilot.

Surviving is his wife:  Yvonne "Bonnie" Heape Freeman of Early Branch; brothers:  Johnny Freeman and wife Linda of Early Branch and Gary Freeman and wife Livia of Varnville.  There are several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and two great, great-nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is a long-time friend, Casey Jarrell.

Memorial services will be 6 pm Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the home of Johnny and Linda Freeman located at 18699 Pocotaligo Road conducted by Rev. Glenn Samples and Dr. Shirley Dempsey, Chaplain and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
