Catherine Gail Fennell

Mrs. Catherine Gail DeLoach Fennell, 72, of Rivers Avenue in Hampton died Sunday afternoon at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Fennell was born November 14, 1946 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Richard Everett DeLoach and Evelyn Anna DeWitt DeLoach.  She had retired as manager of Nickle Pumpers Convenience Store in Estill.  She dearly loved her family and spending time with them.

Surviving are her son:  Michael Fennell and wife Gail of Hampton; daughter:  Kim Mock and husband Clyde of Brunson;  brother:  Darnell DeLoach and wife Dodie of Nixville;  sisters:  Jackie Zorn and husband Danny of Hampton and Naomi Griffin and husband Travis of Hoboken, Georgia;  grandchildren:  Randall Moseley, Tiffany Moseley, C.J. McCall, Michael Paul Fennell, Jr., and Vada McKinley Fennell.  There are 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral with burial in the DeLoach Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.

The family would like to thank Hospice of South Carolina for the special care they gave Mrs. Fennell.
