Mr. Carl William Wilson of Stanley Loop near Varnville, died Sunday night in the Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Wilson was born January 4, 1951 in Augusta, Georgia a son of the late Pauline Woods Chesser. He had retired from Westinghouse Corp in Hampton as a Machine Operator, and was a member of the New Life In Christ Church in Early Branch.
Mr. Wilson was a Bass Fisherman and a member of the local Bass Masters Club, and had also served in the local National Guard Unit.
Surviving are: His wife: Annie Stanley Wilson of Varnville; Sons: David Wilson of Greenville, and Jason Wilson of Pond Town; Grandchildren: Patrick Wilson of Greenville, and Matthew Wilson of Hampton; and two nieces: Dianna Smith and Sandy Fennell.
Mr. Wilson was predeceased by a Brother: Charles Chesser.
Funeral services will be 11 A. M. Thursday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Alan Cook, with burial in the Sandy Run Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Thursday prior to the services at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
