Byron Crosby, Sr.

Mr. Byron Isaac Crosby, Sr., 63, of Prescott Road in Yemassee, died Friday, August 20, 2021, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Crosby was born February 9, 1958 in Allendale, a son of the late Willie Oliver Crosby and Kary Mell Edwards Crosby.  He was a farmer but was skilled in many other fields.  He was a member of West End Baptist Church in Hampton.

Surviving is his son, Byron Isaac Crosby, Jr. and wife Mary of Beaufort; daughters, Blair Veronica Bishop and husband Mackie of Early Branch and Elizabeth Moore of Jonesville; grandchildren, Melanie, Whitney, Bryanna, Victoria, Nicholas, Southerly, Abbagail, Colin, Easton, Kathleen and Byron, III; and three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Carter and Kyler.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday, August 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Freddie Edwards with burial in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton.

Visitation will be Monday beginning at 1:30 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
