Miss Brittany Elisabeth Peeples, 31, of Lanett, Alabama, formerly of Ridgeland, South Carolina, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her residence.

Miss Peeples was born February 11, 1990 in Colleton County, a daughter of Jeannie Owens Peeples and the late Howard Van Peeples, Sr.  She was a homemaker and a member of Gray Hill Baptist Church in West Point, Georgia.  Miss Peeples was a Seahawk football fan, enjoyed playing basketball and cooking with her son.

Surviving besides her mother of Lanett, Alabama is her son, Bryan Lee Adams, Jr. of Lanette, AL; brother, Bubba Peeples and wife Tania of Early Branch; sisters, Nichole Sams and husband Mickey of Ruffin, Brandy Mathis and husband Jerry of Varnville and Jessica Peeples of Ridgeland; her companion, Louis Diaz, Jr.; step-children, Tony and Marie Diaz, all of Lanett, AL; 12 nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; maternal grandmother, Catherine Carrell of Alabama; and paternal grandmother, Doris Freeman of Hampton.  Miss Peeples was predeceased by her father; grandmother Yvonne Rentz; grandfather Howard Rodell Peeples; maternal grandfather Butch Carrell, Jr; 2 cousins and a nephew.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Marion Rentz with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM Tuesday morning prior to the service at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
