Bobby Sauls Ryan

Mrs. Bobby Jean Sauls Ryan, 75, resident of Freeman Street in Hampton, wife of Jake Wesley Ryan, Sr., passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 6, 1950, in Walterboro, Mrs. Ryan was the daughter of the late JB Sauls and Katherine Mosley Sauls. Mrs. Ryan retired from Mohawk Industries in Ulmer, South Carolina, where she dedicated 38 years of loyal service. She was a woman of many talents and passions. She found great joy in baking and cooking for her loved ones; often filling her home with the comforting aromas of her favorite recipes. A gifted crafter, she enjoyed cross-stitching, creating handmade crafts, and working with ceramics. Her creativity and warmth were evident in everything she made. Her love for her family will forever be remembered.

She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Jake Wesley Ryan, Sr., Mrs. Bobby is survived by her son, Jake Ryan, Jr. of Hampton; her daughter, Tina Murdaugh (Sean) of Hampton; her granddaughter, Katherine Ryan, and her mother, Erin Ryan, of Hampton; her brother, Wade Sauls of Barnwell, and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ryan is predeceased by her grandson, Justin Murdaugh and her brother, Jimmy Sauls.

Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 14, 2025, in the St. Paul Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly.

The family requests that those who wish may send memorials in Mrs. Ryan's honor to the St. Paul Cemetery, c/o Donna Pitman, 515 Hoover St. N., Hampton, SC 29924.
